This week at the Institute, students met with artist Roger Asay to discuss and experience the process of creating art in nature.

Below: They also visited with solar expert Ben Mancini, seen here taking a reading of the surface temperature of the passive solar trombe wall at his home; presented their interim concepts on their cube-to-home projects; and began their site analysis of the land for which they are developing an affordable housing apartment design.

Below: Despite the cold, rainy weather, students enthusiastically engaged with their environment and each other to create temporary and beautiful installations.
