CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO DESIGN FOR A SUSTAINABLE WORLD

One of the unique aspects of the Ecosa Institute Certificate in Ecological Design is that students work on a diverse team and engage with actual clients, real sites and real budgets. Students work on a number of projects each semester, both large and small, that incorporate ecological design principles and also meet client needs.

A few years ago we consulted with homeowner Marie Jones of Flagstaff, AZ to design a house made from shipping containers. We’ve published many of the lessons along with the story of this project in a free e-book, Getting Started With Container House Designs. This e-book offers a little preview into some of the design challenges you might encounter as an Ecosa student. Enjoy!
