Credit can be provided for the Ecosa semester and workshop programs through Prescott College or through your own institution.

Ecosa Institute programs are accredited through Prescott College, a four-year liberal arts college in Prescott, Arizona fully accredited  through the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Upon completion of the Ecosa program the student will receive an official transcript from Prescott College.

Course Credit

If you are enrolled at an accredited institution you may be able to receive credit through that institution for Ecosa Institute programs.Credit for the Ecosa Certifacte of Regenerative Ecological Design can be provided in the form of course equivalencies through Prescott College, Ball State University or through your own institution.

NCACS CREDIT THROUGH PRESCOTT COLLEGE

Ecosa Institute programs are accredited through Prescott College, a four-year liberal arts college in Prescott, Arizona fully accredited through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In most cases these credits are transferable to other colleges. Prescott College uses the semester credit system. The cost for credits is $150 per semester credit. You may receive any amount of undergraduate credit up to a total of 16 semester credits for the Ecosa program. Students wishing to have Prescott College credits transfer to their home institution are required to have approval from a faculty member, academic advisor and/or the registrar at their home institution. Upon completion of the Ecosa program the student will receive an official transcript from Prescott College.

Written student and faculty evaluations are required in order to receive credit from Prescott College.

NAAB CREDIT THROUGH BALL STATE UNIVERSITY

Ecosa Institute programs are accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board through Ball State University. Students must enroll in Ball State's School of Extended Education and pay $235 per semester credit. Ball State uses the semester credit system and students may receive up to 12 semester credits towards an architectural or design degree program. In most cases these credits are transferable to other colleges. Students wishing to have Ball State credits transfer to their home institution are required to have approval from a faculty member, academic advisor and/or the registrar at their home institution. Upon completion of the Ecosa program the student will receive an official transcript from Ball State.

CREDIT THROUGH A HOME INSTITUTION

If you are enrolled at an accredited institution you may be able to receive credit through that institution for Ecosa Institute programs. Many schools have independent study opportunities, study abroad, and elective courses that can be used for programs such as those at Ecosa.

Students must obtain consent from a faculty member, academic advisor and/or the registrar at their home institution before attending our programs to be assured that credit will be given. Please let as know in a timely manner if you require any documentation from us to receive credit.

Credit Requirements

 



If you plan to receive credit for participation in Ecosa Programs you are responsible for tailoring the semester work to meet the requirements of your program. If you need any assistance from Ecosa in this regard please let us know. We will make every effort to help you meet your institutional requirements. Ecosa can provide written evaluations and letter grades upon request. If you require additional documentation for your school's administration please let us know what you need well in advance.

To successfully complete the Ecosa semester the following requirements must be met:

* Participation in all lecture periods and documentation of sessions with notes
* Constructive and cooperative attitude with your teachers and peers throughout the semester
* Complete all readings assigned with well-documented book notes
* Participation in discussion groups
* Full participation and contributions to all team and individual projects
* Participation in all field trips
* Timely completion of all assigned projects
* Complete documentation of the projects and other activities through out the semester
